parāśara uvāca:
yathā keśidhvajaḥ prāha khāṇḍikyāya mahātmane
janakāya purā yogaṃ tathāhaṃ kathayāmi te //
PARÁŚARA.--I will repeat to you, Maitreya, the explanation formerly given by Keśidhwaja to the magnanimous Kháńd́ikya, also called Janaka.
