śrīparāśara uvāca
prajāḥ sasarja bhagavānbrahmā nārāyaṇātmakaḥ /
prajāpatipatirdevo yathā tanme niśāmaya //
PARÁŚARA.--In what manner the divine Brahmá, who is one with Náráyańa, created progeny, and is thence named the lord of progeny (Prajápati), the lord god, you shall hear.
