maitreya kathayāmyetacchṛṣuṣva susamāhitaḥ /
yathā sasarja devosau devādīnakhilānvibhuḥ //
PARÁŚARA.--I will explain to you, Maitreya, listen attentively, how this deity, the lord of all, created the gods and other beings.
