śrīpāraśara uvāca
kathitastāmasaḥ sargo brahmaṇaste mahāmune /
rudrasargaṃ pravakṣyāmi tanme nigadataḥ śṛṇu //
PARÁŚARA.--I have described to you, oh great Muni, the creation of Brahmá, in which the quality of darkness prevailed. I will now explain to you the creation of Rudra.
