maitreya śrūyatāmetatsaṃkṣepādgadato mama /
nāsya varṣaśatenāpi vaktuṃ śakyo hi vistaraḥ //
PARÁŚARA.--You shall hear, Maitreya, a brief account of the earth from me: a full detail I could not give you in a century.
