tattvena yaś ca dadhadīśvaratatsvabhāva bhogāpavargatadupāyagatīr udāraḥ /
saṃdarśayan niramimīta purāṇaratnaṃ tasmai namo munivarāya parāśarāya //
And who, noble in mind, truly establishing the Lord, His nature, enjoyment, liberation, and the paths of the means thereto, / revealing them, composed this jewel of a Purāṇa—to that best of sages, Parāśara, reverence.
