parāśara uvāca:
vyākhyātam etad brahmāṇḍasaṃsthānaṃ tava suvrata
tataḥ pramāṇasaṃsthāne sūryādīnāṃ śṛṇuṣva me //
PARÁŚARA.--Having thus described to you the system of the world in general, I will now explain to you the dimensions and situations of the sun and other luminaries.
