Upon You of what kind? 'Wearing gleaming golden earrings and armlets' (cañcatkāñcanakuṇḍalāṅgadadharām): earrings and armlets are 'kuṇḍalāṅgada'; gleaming, shining, and golden, made of gold, are those earrings and armlets, ornaments for the ears and arms. 'Dharām' means wearing them; the root dhṛñ means 'to hold', taking the affix ac in the sense of pacādi—bearing golden earrings on the ears and golden armlets on the creepers of the arms, such is the meaning. Likewise, 'adorned with a girdle-garland' (ābaddhakāñcīsrajam): she by whom a girdle-garland, a cord-belt, is bound, worn; 'kāñcī' is a particular ornament for a woman's hips that fastens the garment. This is an implied indication of the jeweled crown, necklace, anklets, and other ornaments. As has been said:
