tvadbhaktijanopayogopakārādeva madīyā sūktiḥ saphalatāmiyāttatrāpi
madīyatvādhyāso'pi vastuto'dhyāsajanito bhaktirasavaivaśyenaiva madvākprasarasya
sambhavādato bhaktireva kartrī ityāśayenātmagauravaṃ nirasyannāha-

Disregarding any consideration of whether it is praiseworthy or blameworthy, may my inspired utterance attain fruition merely from its utility and assistance to the people devoted to you; even there, any superimposition of 'mine' is in truth born of delusion, since the flow of my speech is possible only under the overwhelming sway of the sentiment of devotional love, and therefore devotion alone is the agent—with this intention, discarding self-importance, he says:
