bhāvaudhān yā kramaparigatān darpaṇe svātmasaṃvi-
drūpe tredhā tisṛbhiraparākhyādibhiḥ sphārayantī .
pañcastavyāṃ navanavavidhollekhinī prātibhākhyā
vācyārthān sā prakaṭayatu me śāradā vyācikīrṣoḥ .. 3 ..

She who unfolds the multitudes of entities embraced by sequence in the mirror / that is the pure consciousness of Her own self threefold through the three [levels of speech] beginning with Aparā; / She who in the Pañcastavī delineates ever-new forms, known as intuitive insight— / may that Śāradā reveal the expressed meanings to me, who desire to comment. // 3
