Because the thirty-six principles can be pervaded in the final seed-syllable of the root-vidyā, in order that its inclusion may also be understood as conforming to experience, through the procedure stated in the unsurpassable Trika scriptures, the pervasion of the thirty-one principles beginning with earth and ending with māyā is demonstrated by the letter SA, of those beginning with pure wisdom and ending with Śakti by the trident-letter [HA], and of that which transcends them by the visarga.
