uttāno varadaḥ pāṇireṣa devyāḥ sadaiva hi ..
surāsuramunivrātavaradeyaṃ bhaviṣyati ..
'And what I said about her hand being always turned upward: / the hand of the Goddess that is turned upward is indeed ever boon-granting. / She will be the granter of boons to hosts of gods, demons, and sages.'
