Having thus worshipped the attendants with fragrant unhusked grains, flowers, and drops of nectar; having offered a handful of flowers upon the image of the goddess with the forty-four mantras; having given incense and a lamp; having performed the waving of lights; having presented an offering of food consisting of well-cooked rice made from winter rice, accompanied by ghee, plantains, coconut side dishes, and sugar; having performed the fire ritual; having scattered the oblation with "Oṃ hrīṃ, to all beings that cause all obstacles, huṃ svāhā!"; having bowed down; having offered nectar-water; having removed the food offering; having offered to her [with] "Aiṃ, O Ucchiṣṭa-caṇḍālī! O Mātaṅgī! O you who subjugate all! Svāhā!"; having offered water for rinsing the mouth and so forth; having performed the pleased worship; having made an offering to Brahman and an offering of oneself; having accepted the sacred water; having praised [her]; having bowed down; having personally become identified with her; having performed the limb of dissolution; having brought [her] into oneself; having performed the installation of life-breath; having offered a handful of flowers once into oneself and once upon the image of the goddess; having worshipped the conch shell; having set it down; having recited the mantra preceded by [the placement of] the limbs, seers, and so on according to time and according to inclination; and having performed the yogic practices, one should become filled with the deity.
