kṛṣṇānandamunīśvarasya kṛpayā turyāśramaṃ yo'śramaṃ
prāpyāmnāyaśiro'dhirūḍhamavagamyātmānamapyātmanā .
āsādyāpi ca paddhatiṃ śivamayīmānandanāthād guro-
rānandāntikarāghavo muniragāt tṛptiṃ sa vṛttiṃ vyadhāt ..

Having effortlessly attained the fourth stage of life through the grace of the sage-lord Kṛṣṇānanda,
having understood through the self the Self mounted atop the crest of the Vedas,
and having received the auspicious ritual manual from his guru Ānandanātha,
that sage Rāghava, whose name ends in Ānanda, reached fulfillment and composed this commentary.
