'Endowed with genuine tradition' (satsampradāyānvitaḥ): genuine, that is, faultless, and that is a tradition, an unbroken succession of instruction—[that is] a genuine tradition; endowed with, joined with that. It was obtained by me through the unbroken succession of instruction of the best of gurus; it was not fabricated just now, in which case there might be suspicion of unauthoritativeness due to human origin. The meaning is: only the mantras obtained from tradition have been extracted here by us. For only with an attentive mind can one know everything; thus it was said that it was spoken to one of undivided mind. Or rather: one whose mind thinks, 'I am not anyone other than Bhāratī, but rather she herself,' is one of undivided mind; [it refers to the praise] belonging to that me, composed by me who am such—this is the meaning. By this, its purity with respect to agent, subject matter, and nature is stated, so that it must necessarily be respected by the learned; may there be auspiciousness! // 20
