saṃskāreṇa vinā devi pāṣāṇādau na pūjayet /
saṃskāraṃ ca pravakṣyāmi viśeṣa iha yad bhavet //
Without consecration, O goddess, one should not worship in stone and the rest. / And I shall declare the consecration, whatever specific rule there is in this regard.
