tasmād uttolya taṃ liṅgaṃ gaṅgātoye dinatrayam /
tato vedoktavidhinā saṃskāram ācaret sudhīḥ //
Lifting that liṅga from it, [one should keep it] in Gaṅgā water for three days. / Then, according to the rule declared in the Veda, the wise one should perform the consecration.
