8.3

pāradasya śatāṃśaikaṃ mama jñāne na vartate /
śivabījaṃ mahādeva śivarūpaṃ na cānyathā /
liṅgarūpaṃ kathaṃ deva tad vadasva mayi prabho //

A single hundredth part of mercury does not exist in my knowledge. / The semen of Śiva, O Great God, is the form of Śiva and nothing else; / how does it have the form of a liṅga, O God? Tell me that, O Lord!
