Having sipped water again, the knower of dharma, having also placed the six limbs, / having taken water in his left hand, reciting the mantra, / should sprinkle it seven times on his head with the drops of falling water. / The wise man, taking the remaining water in his right hand, / drawing it in through the iḍā, having washed away the accumulation of sin within his body, / should exhale that water, turned black, through the right channel; / and meditating on it in his right hand as the embodiment of sin, / the mantrin should cast it onto an adamantine stone in front, uttering the astra-mantra.
