bāṇalakṣaṃa japenmantraṃ ghṛtena juhuyāttataḥ .
daśāṃśaṃ saṃskṛte vahnau brāhmaṇānapi bhojayet .
aṣṭākṣarodite pīṭhe pūrvavatpūjayetsudhīḥ .. 16 ..

One should recite the mantra five hundred thousand times; then one should make oblation with ghee / to one-tenth [of that number] in consecrated fire, and also feed brāhmaṇas. / The wise person should worship as before upon the seat described with eight syllables. (16)
