sāyāhne varadāṃ devīṃ gāyatrīṃ saṃsmaredyatiḥ .
śuklāṃ śuklāmbaradharāṃ vṛṣāsanakṛtāśrayām .
trinetrāṃ varadāṃ pāśaṃ śūlañca nṛkaroṭikām .
sūryamaṇlamadhyasthāṃ dhyāyan devīṃ samabhyaset .. 37 ..

In the evening, the renunciant should remember the Goddess Gāyatrī who grants boons, / white, wearing white garments, seated upon a bull, / three-eyed, granting boons, [holding] a noose, a trident, and a human skull-bowl; / meditating on the Goddess seated in the middle of the solar orb, he should practice. (37)
