cāpa māṃ sarvadā rakṣa sākaṃ sāyakasattamaiḥ
oṃ caṃ cāpāya namaḥ
puṇyastvaṃ puṇyaśaṅkhānāṃ maṅgalānāṃ ca maṅgalaḥ

O bow, protect me always together with the best of arrows!
Oṃ caṃ, obeisance to the bow.
You are holy among holy conches, and the auspiciousness of all auspicious things;
