spṛśataḥ śirasā padena ca tvāṃ gatimuddiśya mukundapāduke dvau |
avarohati paścimaḥ padāt svā-dadhirohatyanaghastadeva pūrvaḥ ||
With a view to movement, two beings touch you, O Mukunda's sandal, / one with his head and the other with his foot: / the latter descends from his station, / while the former, freed of sin, ascends precisely to it.
