anuyāti nityamamṛtātmikāṃ kalāṃ tava raṅgacandramaṇipādu jhaṅkṛtam |
śravasā mukhena paribhujya yatkṣaṇā-dajarāmaratvamupayānti sādhavaḥ ||
The jingling sound of thee, O gem-sandal of the moon of Raṅgam, / ever follows the immortal digit [of the moon], / which the virtuous, tasting through the ears as through a mouth, / in an instant attain freedom from age and death.
