viṣṇoḥ padena ghaṭitā maṇipāduke tvaṃ vyaktendranīlarucirujjvalamauktikaśrīḥ |
kāleṣu dīvyasi marudbhirudīryamāṇā kādambinīva paritaḥ sphuṭavāribinduḥ ||

Fastened to the foot of Viṣṇu, O gem sandal, / with the radiant luster of sapphires and the brightness of brilliant pearls, / stirred by the wind as you move at all times, / you shine all around like a bank of clouds with clearly visible water drops.
