vividhamaṇimayūkhairvyaktapakṣāṃ vicitrai-rjalanidhiduhitustvāṃ vedmi līlācakorīm |
aniśamavikalānāṃ pāduke raṅgabhartu-ścaraṇanakhamaṇīnāṃ candrikāmāpibantīm ||

With wings manifest through the varied rays of diverse gems, / I know you, O sandal, as the pet cakorī bird of the ocean's daughter, / drinking continually the moonlight / of the gem-like toenails of the Lord of Raṅgam, forever full.
