ativāḍmanasaṃ vicintya śaureḥ padarakṣe padapadmasaukumāryam |
paripuṣyasi padmarāgabhāsā padavīmāhitapallavāmiva tvam ||
Reflecting on the tenderness of Śauri's lotus foot / beyond the reach of speech and mind, O foot-covering, / you furnish his path with the luster of rubies, / as if it were strewn with fresh sprouts.
