rājye vanepi raghuvīrapadocitāyāḥ saṃsmṛtya gautamavadhūparirakṣaṇaṃ te |
manye samāhitadhiyo maṇipāduke tvāṃ mūrdhnā bhajantyanudinaṃ munidharmadārāḥ ||

Remembering how you, suited to the hero of Raghu's line, protected Gautama's wife / both in the kingdom and in the forest, / I think the lawful wives of sages, their minds composed, / daily adore you with their heads, O gem sandal.
