prauḍhapravālarucirā bhuvanaikavandyā raṅgādhirājacaraṇāvani ramyacandrā |
sambhinnamauktikaruciḥ satataṃ prajānāṃ tāpātyayaṃ diśasi tārakiteva sandhyā ||

Radiant with full coral, solely worshipful to the universe, O foot-protector of the Sovereign of Raṅgam, / possessed of a delightful moon and beautiful camphor, intermingled with pearl-splendour, / like the starry twilight you constantly bestow upon people the cessation of heat.
