avikalanijacandrālokasandarśanīyā pratikalamupabhogyā pāduke raṅgabhartuḥ |
mukulayitumaśeṣaṃ mauktikajyotsnayā naḥ prabhavasi timiraughaṃ paurṇamāsī niśeva ||

Lovely to behold with the flawless light of your own moon, / worthy of being enjoyed every moment, O sandal of the Lord of Raṅgam, / you are able to entirely close up the flood of our darkness / with the moonlight of your pearls, like the night of the full moon.
