nityaṃ raṅgakṣitipatipadanyāsadhanyātmanaste śiñjānādaṃ śravaṇamadhuraṃ pāduke dīrghayantaḥ |
kāle tasmin karaṇavigamakleśajātaṃ vihanyuḥ santāpaṃ nastaruṇatulasīgandhino gandhavāhāḥ ||

Prolonging your tinkling sound, sweet to the ear, / O sandal whose essence is blessed by the continuous placement of the feet of Raṅgam's king, / may the winds bearing the fragrance of fresh tulasī / at that final moment dispel our torment born of the distress of our senses failing!
