śrīraṅgendoścaraṇakamalaṃ tādṛśaṃ dhārayantī kālekāle saha kamalayā klṛptayātrotsavaśrīḥ |
gatvāgatvā svayamanugṛhadvāramunnidranādā paurānnityaṃ kimapi kuśalaṃ pāduke pṛcchasīva ||

Bearing that lotus foot of the moon of Śrīraṅgam, / with the splendor of the processional festival arranged from time to time alongside Kamalā, / repeatedly going in person to the door of each house with awakening sounds, / you seem, O sandal, constantly to ask the citizens of their well-being.
