kanakarucā jaṭāmuragamaulimaṇīnmaṇibhi-stridivataraṅgiṇīṃ taralamauktikadīdhitibhiḥ |
kuṭilatayā kvacicchaśikalāmadharīkuruṣe muraripupāduke purabhidaḥ śirasā vidhṛtā ||

With golden luster you surpass Śiva's matted hair; with gems, the jewels on the serpent's head; / with shimmering pearls, the heavenly river; / and here and there with your curve, the crescent moon, / O sandal of Mura's enemy, when worn upon the head of the destroyer of the cities.
