niśśeṣamambaratalaṃ yadi patrikā syā-tsaptārṇavī yadi sametya maṣī bhavitrī |
vaktā sahasravadanaḥ puruṣaḥ svayaṃ ce-llikhyeta raṅgapatipādukayoḥ prabhāvaḥ ||

If the entire expanse of the sky were the leaf, if all seven oceans united to become the ink, / and if the thousand-faced Puruṣa himself were the speaker, the splendour of the sandals of the Lord of Raṅgam might be written down.
