parisaravinatānāṃ mūrdhni durvarṇapaṅktiṃ pariṇamayasi śaureḥ pāduke tvaṃ suvarṇam |
kuhakajanavidūre satpathe labdhavṛtteḥ kka nu khalu viditaste ko'pyasau dhātuvādaḥ ||
O sandal of Śauri, you transform the line of bad letters upon the heads of those who bow beside you into gold;
where indeed did you learn this wonderful alchemy, when you keep to the righteous path far from deceptive folk?
