śamadamaguṇadāntodantavaideśikānāṃ śaraṇamaśaraṇānāṃ mādṛśāṃ mādhavasya |
padakamalamidaṃ te pāduke rakṣyamāsī-danudayanidhanānāmāgamānāṃ nidhānam ||
O sandal, this lotus foot of Mādhava—the refuge for the shelterless like me who are strangers to the news of self-control, restraint, and virtues—
was to be protected by you, being the treasure of the beginningless and endless scriptures.
