dvitayaṃ pratiyanti raṅgabhartuḥ katicit kāñcanapāduke śaraṇyam |
abhayānvitamagrimaṃ karaṃ vā bhavatīśekharitaṃ padāmbujaṃ vā ||
O golden sandal, some recognize two things of the Lord of Raṅgam as their refuge:
either the forward hand marked with the gesture of safety, or the lotus foot crowned by you.
