bhūmiḥ śrutīnāṃ bhuvanasya dhātrī guṇauranantā vipulā vibhūtyā |
sthirā svayaṃ pālayituṃ kṣamā naḥ sarvaṃsahā śauripadāvani tvam ||
The ground of the Vedas, mother of the universe, endless in virtues, vast in divine majesty, / firm herself, capable of protecting us, all-enduring—you are the earth itself, O foot-protector of Śauri.
