kākutsthapādavirahapratipannamaunāṃ niṣpandatāmupagatāṃ maṇipādarakṣe |
āśvāsayanniva muhurbharatastadānīṃ śītairavījayata cāmaramārutaistvām ||
O gem-adorned footwear, as though repeatedly consoling you, / who had observed silence and attained immobility due to separation from the feet of the descendant of Kakutstha, / Bharata fanned you then with the cool breezes of the chowrie.
