manujatvatirohitena śakye vapuṣaikena virodhināṃ nirāse |
abhajadbharatādibhedamīśaḥ svayamārādhayituṃ padāvani tvām ||
Though capable with a single body hidden beneath human form / of banishing his adversaries,
the Lord assumed the divisions of Bharata and the others, / O foot-protector, in order to worship you himself.
