jaleṣu māṃ rakṣatu matsyamūrti-
ryādogaṇebhyo varuṇasya pāśāt .
sthaleṣu māyāvaṭuvāmano'vyāt
trivikramaḥ khe'vatu viśvarūpaḥ .. 13..

In the waters may the fish-incarnation protect me
from the hordes of aquatic monsters and from Varuṇa's noose;
on land may the illusory dwarf Vāmana protect me;
may the cosmic form Trivikrama protect me in the sky. 13.
