gaganānnyapatatsadyaḥ savimāno hyavākṣirāḥ .
sa vālakhilyavacanādasthīnyādāya vismitaḥ .
prāsya prācīsarasvatyāṃ snātvā dhāma svamanvagāt .. 40..

Head downward, together with his celestial aerial car, he fell immediately from the sky. / Astonished, on the counsel of the Vālakhilyas he gathered the [brahmin's] bones, / threw them into the eastern Sarasvatī, bathed, and returned to his own abode. (40)
