vekāraṃ netrayoryuJṇjyānnakāraṃ sarvasandhiṣu .
makāramastramuddiśya mantramūrtirbhavedbudhaḥ .. 9..

one should attach 've' to the two eyes, 'na' on all the joints,
and pointing 'ma' as a weapon, the wise one becomes the embodiment of the mantra. 9.
