He sings three syllables of it concealed.
These worlds are indeed three.
Prajāpati is the Vāmadevya; Prajāpati is the leader of the worlds.
'May that Prajāpati, the leader to the heavenly world—he who is the leader to the heavenly world, may he lead me to the heavenly world; he who is the leader of the worlds, may he lead us to the worlds.'
In the stotra of the Vāmadevya he should introduce the bull.
'sau hau khā' is indeed the bull.
The Vāmadevya is the womb, the bull is procreative power.
It is through procreative power that he introduces procreative power into the womb, for propagation.
It should be sung as if cryptically.
He should not touch the verse.
The Vāmadevya is indeed a bird.
If he were to touch the verse, it would be just as if a bird flying through the intermediate space were to strike a tree.
He should not breathe out between two quarters [of a verse].
If he were to breathe out between two quarters, it would be just as if one were to fall into a pit.
Having begun the subsequent quarter, he should breathe out.
It is just as if one, having stepped from foothold to foothold, were to breathe out upward.

pratihāra eva pratihriyamāṇe vāgityudgātā brūyāt
