The Śyaita in the beginning had a word-fināle, the Naudhasa had the fināle 'vasu'.
With these two they intermarried.
Ever since then, they dwell in each other's house;
before that, they lived in their own homes, or with their own kinsmen.
They praise with the Rathantara.
This [earth] is the Rathantara.
Then with the Vāmadevya;
this atmosphere is the Vāmadevya.
Then with the Naudhasa;
yonder [sky] is the Naudhasa.
He wins the worlds upwards from here without interruption.
They praise with the Bṛhat;
yonder [sky] is the Bṛhat.
Then with the Vāmadevya;
this atmosphere is the Vāmadevya.
Then with the Śyaita;
this [earth] is the Śyaita.
He wins the worlds downwards from there without interruption.
He who knows thus wins both worlds, those above and those below.
