He, Śyāvāśva, [became one] together with the Maruts.
That is a heaven-procuring sāman.
He who knows thus reaches the heavenly world.
And because Śyāvāśva Ārcanānasa saw it, therefore it is called Śyāvāśva.
Indra, feeling disgust, stepped out of the third pressing,
for it was, as it were, sucked dry.
The All-Gods called after him with this sāman: "Ohoiyā."
Then indeed Indra turned back to the third pressing.
From then on, he did not depart from him.
That is a sāman containing Indra.
His sacrifice contains Indra and contains the gods,
Indra turns toward his sacrifice, and Indra does not depart from his sacrifice, who knows thus.
It has a final vowel.
The final vowel is breath.
Indeed, they are deprived of their breaths who make an omission or do not make an omission in the sacrificial work.
For who knows whether they make an omission or do not?
Because it has a final vowel, they are enriched with breaths.
