tadaiḷamacchāvākasāma bhavati
paśavo vā iḷa
paśuṣvevaitatpratitiṣṭhanti
abhīḷāyai svareṇa tṛtīyamaha svarati
Then there is the Aiḷa [sāman] as the acchāvākasāman.
Cattle, indeed, are iḷā.
They establish themselves in cattle.
Toward iḷā the third day resounds with [its] tone.
