tamarkebhistaṃ sāmabhiriti śīrṣṇastadidāsa bhuvaneṣu jyeṣṭhamityātmanaḥ

'tam arkebhis tam sāmabhiḥ' ('Him with songs, him with chants') [is said] on account of the head; 'tad id āsa bhuvaneṣu jyeṣṭham' ('That indeed was the eldest in the worlds') on account of the body.
