Six stotras should be ninefold, six fifteenfold.
Those [stotras] which precede the midday [pressing] should be ninefold; those which are subsequent should be fifteenfold.
However, the midday [pavamāna] should be fifteenfold; the hotṛ's pṛṣṭha should be ninefold.
In that fifteenfold midday [pavamāna] they arrange the Rathantara.
Brahman is the Rathantara, royal power is the fifteenfold [stoma].
They thereby establish brahman in royal power.
And when the hotṛ's pṛṣṭha is ninefold, brahman is the ninefold [stoma], royal power is the Bṛhat; they thereby establish royal power in brahman.
Those two, having thus become established in each other, went to supremacy.
Indeed, for both of them there was [a gain] that cannot be taken away.
He who knows thus wins fame that cannot be taken away, fortune that cannot be taken away, the heavenly world that cannot be taken away.
Furthermore, in that these two stotras, the ninefold and fifteenfold, are interwoven, from an interwoven couple offspring and cattle are born; [it is] for procreation.
Moreover, the stomas are the breaths; interwoven indeed are these breaths so as not to pass out.
Therefore, these stotras should be interwoven as ninefold and fifteenfold.
At its midday pavamāna, the specified sāman is a sāman to Indra and Agni.
For this sacrifice belongs to Indra and Agni.
They thereby enrich the stoma with its proper form.
