Keśin Dārbhya wished to be consecrated between two leaves of darbha grass. / Then Sutvan Yājñasena, having become a golden goose, sat down on the sacrificial post. / Keśin addressed him by name, saying, 'Keśin!' / He became angry: 'I am the elder, the king of the Pañcālas! / And indeed I am consecrated! / Who indeed dares address me simply by name?' / He said: 'Do not be angry! / I am the one to address you because I was king of this people before you. / Indeed, I am the one to address you because you are not consecrated. / Do you know the imperishability of sacrificial and charitable works? / I know the consecration. / Let us discuss it together.' / He said: 'Fire is consecrated, the earth is the consecration; Wind is consecrated, the atmosphere is the consecration; Āditya is consecrated, the sky is the consecration; Prajāpati is consecrated, the mind is the consecration. / He should be consecrated [with the words]: "With that consecration with which Fire is consecrated, with that consecration I am consecrated; with that consecration with which Wind is consecrated, with that consecration I am consecrated; with that consecration with which Āditya is consecrated, with that consecration I am consecrated; with that consecration with which Prajāpati is consecrated, with that consecration I am consecrated."'
